MANCHESTER – Excitement and optimism are in full bloom this Spring as work begins on capital improvement projects in schools throughout the city.  The Manchester School Department has embarked on a long-anticipated construction and renovation project at multiple sites.  School and community leaders will break ground on the expansive addition-renovation projects at Hillside and McLaughlin Middle Schools.

Work is set to begin as the school year comes to a close. The ground-breaking ceremonies will be held in the final days of the year, before students and staff head home for the summer.
