Did you know…
☺ Mangoes are the most popular fruit eaten in the world. (Mangoes are as common as the apple to more than half the world.)
☺ Mangoes originated in India.
☺ Mangoes are over 4,000 years old.
☺ Mango trees require hot, tropical weather to produce fruit.
☺ Mangoes grow on trees, sometimes 60 feet tall.
☺ Mangoes hang from the tree like lollipops on long stems.
☺ Most of the mangoes in the United States are shipped in from Mexico, Haiti, the Caribbean and South America.
☺ Asia produces three-quarters of the world’s mangoes.
☺ India consumes the most mangoes and calls them the fruit of the gods.
☺ There are over 1,000 varieties of mangoes.
☺ Mangoes can weigh a few ounces to five pounds.
☺ Mangoes range in color from yellow to green to orange or red.
☺ Mangoes are juicy and taste like a combination of peach and pineapple.
☺ Mangoes have a large flat stone in the middle of the fruit that is difficult to remove.
☺ Mangoes are high in vitamin A.(Half of a mango contains 40% of your recommended daily value. Vitamin A is important for cell growth and development, for fighting off diseases and for good vision.)

☺ Cara Cara oranges are special for their unique pinkish-red flesh and distinctive sweet, berry-like flavor with low acidity. They also have a thinner pith than other oranges, leading to a juicier and less bitter experience.
☺ They are seedless, making them convenient to eat.
☺ They are a navel orange variety that originated in Venezuela and are now grown in California.
☺ They are also nicknamed "power oranges" because they have even more vitamin C than regular oranges.
☺ Cara Cara's also have lots of fiber, which is good for digestion and helps lower cholesterol.
☺ Cara Cara Navel Oranges are a cross between 2 other types of navel oranges
☺ Hacienda is the Spanish word for a large estate with a farm.
☺ Cara Cara Oranges are named for the estate where they were first found.
☺ Cara Cara Oranges will not over-ripen if left on the tree.
☺ Cara Cara Oranges Hydrate the Body! Unlike your ordinary oranges, these seedless oranges have a high juice content. Hence, they keep you hydrated. In return, you get good health.
☺ Cara Cara Oranges Boosts Healthy Eyesight. Your eyes need zeaxanthin and lutein to see properly. Cara cara oranges are rich in these antioxidants; hence, they’re suitable for protecting your eyes against age-related macular degeneration. This is a common eye condition that causes vision loss.
