Fun Facts

14+ Languages Spoken

Located in the heart of Manchester, Wilson is home to families from all over the world. Many kids here speak English alongside Spanish, Portuguese, Kinyarwanda, and Arabic.

Title 1 School

We have a team of Title 1 teachers to support student development in both reading and math.

Sense of Belonging

As a neighborhood school, Wilson fosters a sense of community that is unmatched. Most of our kids walk to school accompanied by parents or by the City Year "walking bus"

Historic building

Named for Senator and Vice President Henry Wilson, our school building was constructed in 1895! Just like the building's namesake, our students overcome obstacles every day to learn and thrive.

City Year Partners

Wilson is supported by City Year staff and volunteers who assist classroom teachers and act as young adult role models for our students.
